Default 16 or 17 inch wheels for 2002 S2000

Hello,
I am getting ready to buy new rims for my 2002 s2000 and want to know the pros and cons of getting either the 16 inch rims or 17 inch rims in the OEM size in both? I see most people tend to go from their 16 inch rims to 17 or bigger. I have the factory 2002 AP1 wheels now. There is a lot more wheels to choose from in 17 then sixteen. I am looking at what will handle better and what will ride better.Looks is important to. I am looking at SSR rims SP1 and they come in both 16 and 17 inch rims close to the factory offset. Thanks for your help

17"s. Shorter sidewall means better corning stability and more feedback from the road. You've got a lot more tire options as well as being about to add a bit more rubber to the ground.
