BUMP

Anybody know if you can get away with a 255/40 on a 17x9 45 offset with just rolled
rears?

Also Silentdancer were you able to clear an BBK's with your 17x8 45s? im looking into getting some RG2's which have a friendlier spoke design for BBK's then the blitz 01's

I would guess, Yes if I had to say so. I was barely rubbing with +47 on my CE28's with 255.

I'm gonna mount 255's on my Blitz 17x9 this friday.....I'll let you know when I roll my fenders to see if I'm rubbing still.

I've got the Blitz Type 01 as well and it does rub just slightly with the stock RE050 in 245/40/17. I rolled it a little bit yesterday and I still need to drive it to see if it still rubs. I can see about a section of about 8 inches long and about 3-4mm wide where it rubs. I also shave the bumper a little and cut the washer into a "D" shape.

I'm dropped on Eibach/Koni's for reference.

255 on a 9 +45 is pushing it. Depending on how low you are, you are going to have to run negative camber of about 3.5 and roll your rear fender + relocate the rr bumper tab.

Just wondering what you tires guru would suggest if I was running this setup. Would 245's in the rears rub without rolling my fenders? Or would I have to settle for 235?
and the the OP, 245's will work if your stock height. after lowering, rolled fenders it highly reccommended. If you want to be lower, but do not want to roll your fenders, 235 is a nice stretch.
