I'm not really looking for a project if I can avoid it. I blew up my AP1, so I'm looking to do a quick and easy swap. I need a long block AP1 or complete AP2 with transmission and ECU.

00-05 head is what you need if your installing your existing valve tree and cams. 04-05 ap2 head would be an upgrade if it is complete with valves/springs, guides and retainers (complete minus cams/tree) The valve guides are longer ( more support) and retainers/keepers are stronger to resist dropping a valve in mechanical over rev situations which sometimes happens to the best of us. I've got a complete low mile (32k) 04 head minus cam tree/cams. But one of the combustion chambers needs to be cleaned up at a machine shop due to some pitting after ring land failure from bottom end. I'm happy to send some pics if your interested and you can show/discuss clean up cost/procedure with machine shop and see if the deal we make is worth it to you. Feel free to PM me.
