The rear lower ball joint is part of the knuckle Assy I do not think you can replace the ball joint because its pressed in. There is nothing in the manual on replacing one only the boot. I might be wrong

The ball joint IS serviceable. A good mechanic with the proper adapter should be able to press the old one out for you. The lower rear ball joint is the same as the front lower on a 1997 Accord.
