Save your money it is not the clutch, it's the trans

actually I work for a honda dealership and the buzzing noise you are hearing is prob. the clutch. There is a service bulletin for that year s that calls for a clutch replacement.

True but, If he has the buzz and it has just started and his miles on the car are near 70/80K then a clutch replacement will do the trick. If the car has low miles and it has the buzz then, it will not take care of the issue.

Has the buzz been there since you bought the car?
I have seen guys put 3 different clutch kits in and the car still has the issue.
Doing an install is not cheap and to have to do it more than once is very expensive. Do some research on the problem there is thousands of posts on this subject. It will help you to decide on if it is something you can live with or if you will have to step up to an AP2 trans to alleviate the problem.

I can sell you a clutch but, it may not take the buzz away, it could even make it worse.

I agree that it could maybe be a trans. problem, but I disagree with the 70-80k mile comment made earlier. I recently did a used car check-in on a 00 model with 28k miles on it and it needed the clutch update. So lower miles does not mean that the clutch replacement won't do the trick. Also, when the warranty clutch replacements were done the car had 3 years or 36k miles or less on it not 70-80k. check the forums cause everyone on here is very helpful. Maybe someone near you that has had the prob. can ride with you to verify. Good luck with the car.
