I have been searching hard and have not been able to locate the car I want. I am serious buyer and have looked at 3 cars this summer and turned them down for one reason or another; one being a 13 hour round trip. I am looking for the following:
Year: 2004-2009.
Miles: 70k or under.
Colors: Red, white, silverstone (preferably with red accents.)
Price range: Up to $25,000.
Location: I am near the Syracuse, NY area and willing to travel up to 500 miles.
Mods: Preferably stock. Wheels, intake, or radio ok.
Condition: Very good. Minor seat and top wear ok but no rips on either. Small rock chips ok but no major dents, scratches, dings.
Car history: No accidents, 10 vin tags in place unless there's a story behind a front or rear bumper.
Contact: sstock259@gmail.com or call/text me at 315-527-6two8two.

Make a priority list when looking for a S2000. These cars are not all alike. Several generations with major/subtle changes in 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2008. Guys who bought them new had to take what Honda offered at that time but we have more choices.
Knowing the 2006 and later cars could be tuned and still pass smog "2006 or later" was the #1 item on my list. Followed by typical things like pure stock, low miles, no damage history (all 10 VIN tags, etc), and so on. Color wasn't even on my list as the other items created a very small market. To me putting color high on the list may get you a car you end up not enjoying driving as much as looking at. The only failure on my priority list was the "pure stock" item -- the car had horrible, black aftermarket wheels -- but that was easily fixed 5 years ago (harder now). But some items can never be fixed. And color is one. Unsurprisingly my car is Silver.![smile.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Shane, both of mine are officially on the market. Will be selling one and keeping the other, My signature says what they are. And if we make a deal, I can work with you on shipping and storage til you can get it picked up/shipped (within reason).
BTW, Chuck in his post gives great advice to any buyer. Get the best, no stories car you can afford. The rest is easy to fix and/or takes care of itself over time. Let me know.
