Default Winter Tires sizes for AP1?

I was wondering if you guys would know if these tire sizes would
work for AP1 wheel sizes: 215/55/16 all around....
Found these tires for sale: Toyo Garit KX Performance Winter Tires.
I was hoping to buy used and save a little cash. thanks

They'll "work" but the car will look really odd with such narrow tires on the rear. The stock AP1 OEM rear tire is marked as a 225 but it actually has the tread width of a 245. Also, if you plan on driving the car at highway speeds, you may find the car to be a bit "darty". It won't track straight and true and will tend to move left and right at higher speeds. You need a tread differential to maintain high speed stability.
Besides, do you really get cold enough or have snow long enough to need winter tires in Abbotsford?

Yeah true enough I`m running Dunlop Star Specs right now,
and I just wanted to save the tread life on them as long as
possable. (I don`t think Star Specs will be great in freezing temps?)

Thanks.

Some guys run AP1 front sizes all-around b/c of narrower contact patch supposedly being easier to drive the car in snow, I run AP1 sizes myself.
