Well since we have only owned our S since last June we have used Discovery Honda here in Duncan on Vancouver island and we are happy with the service and staff working their. We are actually getting some work done Mar. 2 so that means S will be out of winter storage soon.

Word of warning, my friend brought his car to a Honda Dealership and they cracked his Mugen splitter. They wouldn't compensate for the damage...be careful.
File a complaint with Honda Canada and they'll sure want to do something. I've done that before where a dealer failed to compensate or even look at it when it was clearly they cause the issue. I took pictures, wrote a letter to Honda Canada, a couple days later that dealer that I complaint about called me to work something out..

And once everythign was all worked out, he ask if i was fully satisfied.. b/c if i say i'm not they have to leave that complaint open until I do, and if you leave it open too long, Honda Canada will question the dealer and they put pressure on the dealer to clear it and close the complaint ticket.....

They may not compensate the WHOLE amount of a new splitter, but partially is better then nothing!

I would assume that Island people are much friendlier, and plus, the dealerships in the Lower Mainland serve a much larger quantity of work. I knew one of the managers at Honda (not gonna mention which), and he even said that the dealership makes its money from quantity. So, more quantity, less quality service?

^^^
I'm sure they make something from selling cars aswell. I know that they profit about 25% off used cars, not sure how much off a new one though.

of course they make some money from cars- but talk to every dealership, the money comes from the servicing

think how many people out there take thier cars to a dealership and pay whatever they charge them.

wow....where do you get this 25% figure from?
So you think that if we have a CRV for 25k that we brought it in for 20?
No wonder so many people come in asking for 5k discount off a car.......
There might be 25% markup on a car worth 10k.
Service makes all the money, us sales guys make very little.
It's more of a hobby for me and I get my discount for everything since i own 4 hondas....
