Never had grinding in any gears but felt tranny was a bit notchy and noisy. I could really feel the teeth of the gears engaging as I changed up or down. After the oil change it seems a fair bit smoother like butter. Before the change we could hear the shafts turning and the gear changes from inside the tranny but that has pretty much been eliminated now. There is less mechanical noise making the car's interior quieter when driving. We can talk a bit bit more quietly now. The oil change was definately worth it.

This would be a change from stock because Christy's car is only a couple week old.

how much did A&J charge ?
did u have to make an appointment..
i want to go there but the people working there don't seem to be very friendly and helpful. When i went in a month ago to get jdm sidemarkers, i was standing in front of one of the people working there for at LEAST 5 mins looking at him while he ate his lunch. Finally had to speak up first and say "could i please buy a set of jdm sidemarkers"

but i have heard that they do great work on s2k's and civic's

Anyone planning to go to AJ to get the tranny oil changed? I've been considering it for a while. Hopefully I can find another S2K to go with me.

navybeaN: If u feel like someone to go with u. I'm not sure if I'm going there after work today. Probably. U can call me at 604-505-8832 to make sure. But it's better to call alan @ 279-0329 and see if they're busy today.

If I'm not going, u can simply tell them Jackie or Peter refer u there.

It would be a good idea to give them a call in advance to set up a time for the oil change.
