T1R 70R Sparrow Installed
Installed my T1R 70R Sparrow exhaust today at Justin's place
jacking up the car
justin trying out my sony DSLR
car's up! ready to remove the huge steel exhaust that's 50lbs+
the cracked tip
damn, nasty
brand new exhaust laid on the ground
sealed titanium tip .
Justin unwrapping the 70mm test pipe to put o2 simulator on.
another pic of wrapped exhaust
Alright, let's run the car :eyes:
justin's ride
his gf's ride. yummy cf doors.
Exhaust on! perfect fitment.
unwrapping the pipe (pretty damn straight)
justin working hard to put the exhaust on. definitely a tough job without a hoister. at least it was much easier taking off the stock exhaust
me doing the last unwrapping ceremony.
removing the seal of ti tip. face hidden due to the retarded smile.
hmmmm.... yummy
remove that silencer!!
silencer off.
Overall thought:
FREAKING RIDICULOUS LOUD, but I love it. Sounds very aggressive, and above 6k rpm when vtec kicks in, it's orgasmic. On the way to home, I tried very hard to think of excuses how I could explain to my gf. There's literally no way she won't notice, like my side diffusers she never noticed. The best answer so far is "hey babe, this exhaust is so loud that it makes me shift early to avoid the drone, resulting in a very safe driving habit."
Anyways, next are the rims. considering volk/work/advan, but no idea about the model yet. damn the spending...

Nice Vic. You should've gotten this done earlier and come to the Stonehenge with us. Leaving the Stonehenge we travelled through a series of mini-tunnels and everyone was making a lot of noise!

ya, I do think not everyone will like this exhaust mainly due to loudness. Curious as to why u don't like this one, is it because of the noise also?

^I'd like to know too. Well... i turned the car on today in my apartment's parking lot and the alarm of another car 5 meters away from me started screaming. i guess i'll have to hear it everytime i leave the garage...

I don't think I could stand an exhaust that drones all the time!
