Default soft top damage

about 2 weeks ago , in downtown.
i found a cig on top of my soft top.
i realized there r a burn mark(small hole) because cig is right on top.

anyway, i wash my car yesterday, and found that the hole r getting bigger, u can even see through the hole from inside. and little water leak from car wash.

questions is. -

if i clame ICBC, how will they repair or replace my soft top?
will they even take this case?

or i should wait till the hole gets bigger,?? but that doesn't do me any good.!!

anyone got this exp from before?

duct tape on the inside might be the cheaper route to go if its not a "big" hole.

Well it'll most likely be repaired. It also depense on how old your top is.

If the hole isn't too big, just get a patch kit from Canadian Tire or Walmart. Its about $15 it has a couple color.

I got my top replaced from icbc,

They charged me 500 deductable and 330 for wear and tear on the old roof even though it was in good condition except for the one small tear.

rip off, but there is nothing you can do.

ICBC are scam artists.

If the hole is small enough, patch it from the inside with contact cement
and some soft top fabric. Otherwise patch it on the outside. Get some
fabric from Trim Up in Richmond. They're very helpful.
