set of tires for vancouver weather?

Best rain tires are the continental DW hands down. They are MAGIC!
Dry tires would be either the z2s or the rivals. I heard good things about 11as as well.
From the readings, z2s have a high but peaky grip levels. Rivals might have a slightly lower but large plateau at the top of the grip level.
Are your z1 balding? If they aren't, should continue to use them till they are. Z1s are good tires.
I highly suggest organised Motorsport events to get to know the limits of the S before (really) spirited drives (as in anywhere near the limit through public roads. So should the tail come out you'll know how to save it.

Hey Marlon, FYI, Costco in the US has good prices for the RE-11As!

if you want cheap, there are cheaper tires available. DW's aren't quite in the same class as the Z2s, Rivals or 11As.

So the price including shipping but before Canadian tax and install for the DW was about $630? For a staggered set-up from Costco the RE-11As was $715 installed + Canadian tax.
