they do snap your picture. I had my picture taken going past 80 there. I didn't get a ticket but a warning from the richmond school board saying that they'll bring in rcmp or seomthing to deal with me if i get caught a 2nd time. they didn't send me my pic tho.. just a written notice of my speed. that was more than a year ago...

just to reconfirm it's at no5 road next to a school.

Hmmm, I've never seen that kind before. The ones I've seen are the portable ones that get moved around. Is that a permanent structure?

To get a letter, wow, I also wonder about the legality of the school having photo radar, in the days and age of budget cuts, should they even be spending money on this kind of thing?

well...if they're short on cash...wouldn't photo radar generate revenue for them? seeing how no5 road is only a couple of traffic lights, your bound to speed pass 60km/h..

but then again i think that device's purpose is just to show your speed and tell you to slow down...the flashing strobe light is just to get your attention, atleast to my understanding
