Default Recommendation on snow tires?

I'm thinking of slapping on some snow tires onto my spare set of AP1 rims (for my AP1) before the winter hits hard. I will stay away from driving in moderate to heavy snowy conditions, but will likely drive in the winter when it's somewhat tolerable. Unfortunately, I don't have an extra car for commuting so I'll have to drive the s2k out when I'm able.

Does anyone else drive their s2k in the winter here in Vancouver? Does anyone have any recommendation on decent priced, snow tires and where to get them? Or is it somewhat crazy for me to be even thinking about driving it in the winter?

any kind of snow tires will be good for moderate snow in Vancouver. coincidentally, I have a set of used snow tires for sale!

I was pretty broke last winter so I just ended up getting the cheapest snow tires I could find. They were Nexen's and they turned out pretty decently - never once lost traction.

I don't think that is recommended for the S2000 b/c of the different grip levels on the tires. Also, summer tires are a no-no in the winter. Im not 100% sure but it might be downright dangerous for the AP2 V2's b/c of the VSA.

you are more likely to crash if you have 2 snow tires than no snow tires.

hmm it'd get you going but then you wouldn't be able to stop or turn. i agree no snow tires are probably better than two but a full set of nexens would probably be the best way to go with no money
