Default Painted Calipers the Old Fashioned Way

Like theputz, I had been planning to paint my calipers this spring. These last few days I finally decided to get this done since I was going to take my snow tires off anyways. Unlike theputz, I did not buy any special G2 Caliper paint. I had purchased a can of high temp spray paint for a previous car, so since I had it already, this is what I ended up using. Here are the results:

A couple of shots of the car:

For those of you who don't know, here's a shot of the center rear jacking point (also the differential):

The paint was great b/c it dried tack free in only 5 minutes. The paint I bought is matte and not glossy. I do think brushing might be easier than spray painting though b/c you won't need to worry about overspray. Considering that I didn't outlay a huge chunk of cash, I'm pretty happy with the results. I haven't decided whether to buy the S2000 stickers or not. What do y'all think?

Vic & Angelus, in a previous thread you guys wanted to do this together, sorry, but I did this over a period of 3 days so it just wasn't feasible. If either of you want to do this I'd be happy to help you both out though.

Yeah, I never really realized that until yesterday after I took the pictures. I can see why Kenny wants them so much now.

Oops, didn't reply fast enough!

Thanks Kenny, I thought red would've been a little over the top for my car.
