Default Oregon Detail Day - Sat. Apr 4 2009

Hi guys.
I wanted to clue you in to this event just in case anyone was interested.
You are welcome to join if you want to make the drive

.....

.....
Second Annual
.."Spring SpitShine"
Detail Day & Potluck

..........and raffle

________________________________________________

When:
Saturday, April 4th, 2009. 8AM until ???
**Weather shouldnt be much of a factor because we have covered workspace, but if it looks like it will be really bad, we will regroup and schedule it for a later weekend
(Easter is the weekend after so it may not be the best choice).

Location: Amy's place (map and directions will be emailed out to attendees a few days prior to the event - See below)

Who: S2k owners from Oregon and surrounding regions
(S2k ONLY please)
Please note: to help Amy deal with the increased costs of power/water from this and past events, there will be a $5 required donation to attend.
This donation will also give you entry into the raffle for some detailing prizes and LUNCH

________________________________________________

Prizes and raffle items provided by Event & S2ki Sponser: DetailersDomain

A special discount code for DetailersDomain will be made available to attendees of the event for anyone who wants to pick up some items

________________________________________________

The Oregon group is getting ready to have their spring detail day and we are extending our reach a little. We are opening our doors to the surrounding regions if anybody would like to attend. DetailersDomain has been kind enough to sponsor our event and give us some goodies to try out and some prizes to give away. Our local member Amy (mysilvers2k) is letting us use her property for the event again, so we will have plenty of room. Because she would prefer to keep her address off the internet, the location and directions will be mailed out to anybody who wants to attend a few days prior to the event. She lives in SW Washington (Vancouver area) so you can decide if you would like to make the drive. As mentioned above, Amy has also hosted this event twice prior and never asked for anything, but in order to help her out, we will be collecting a $5 "donation" to cover the costs of the power/water used. This also will give you an entry into the raffle and potluck lunch.

For those that want to attend, we also ask that you supply one of the following:
EITHER
Detailing supplies
OR
Food/Drink for the potluck
Or both..if you're feeling especially generous

If you would like to attend, you can find our official post HERE.
Let us know you would like to come and what you will be bringing

__________________________________________

We will have a more focused look at interior detailing, including carpet cleaning, leather care and vinyl treatment, but much of the event will be "on your own" to work on what you want to get your car cleaned up. Seasoned Wash & Wax Wackos will be on-hand to assist, show you the ropes or answer any questions you might have.

Hope to see you there!

Hi guys.

I know it's a really long way. If some of the other surrounding regions end up wanting to make the trek we can maybe look into trying to block in a group rate at a hotel or something nearby. I'll keep tabs on it and let you know what turns up.
