hey everybody,
Be careful out there. Just found out a co-worker and friend passed away last night in a car accident. Cops said it happened because of the snow. She had just left work and was a few blocks away.
A smart, beautiful young woman, in school to be a doctor with a sparkling personality and compassion for anybody that needed help, is no longer here because of a couple inches of snow.
Doesn't seem quite fair somehow.
Dunno what else to say, so just be careful out there guys.

I've got near new snow tires on all four corners and I was struggling with all the snow up on SFU.
There are so many cars parked on the side of the road because the owners tried to drive in the snow on all-season's and a few on summer only tires.

I heard on the radio that in some areas it was snowing heavily earlier today. I was out and about today in Richmond and South Vancouver where the weather is actually quite good, we got no snow at all. Yesterday I went out to Coquitlam and it started snowing when I was heading home. The snow was quite heavy on the hills in New Westminster. There wasn't much snow in South Vancouver though. The roads did look very slippery at night, but the 'S was very stable, there is no doubt in my mind that my snow tires helped.
For everyone still on their Summers be careful, don't even bother coming out if it is snowing in your area!!!
