We needed a loss so they get the whole 'walk in the park' mindset out of the way. I believe Russia lost their first game.

Brodeur is wayy too shaky. He can't even do what he's good at -> puck handle. I don't blame him though he was just keeping the puck away from Pronger hahaha

Miller played amazing though.

Lol I sure hope they didn't come in with that mind set. They finished like sixth or seventh last olympics. Only mind set they should have is redemption for their poor preformance last olympics.

They were lucky to beat swizterland. The us team had the skill to capitilize on their mistakes.

And no one can blame Perry on keslers emtpy net goal. Dude dives from behind and hits it with one hand. One of the craziest empty net goals ever.

Dimetra (sp???) also scored a game winner the other day. Canucks are doing well.

To be honest I really don't like Luongo much but I think they have to come back with him now. Brodeur has had two shaky games.

No walk in the park this year boys !!!

Lol did anyone think it was going to be a walk in the park?

Remember this isn't the womens team that dominates.

This is the 4th year the NHL has been involved with the olympics. Out of the previous 3 we have one gold medal. No way you can say Canada is the powerhouse most people make them out to be.

A coach once told me "hard work beats talent everytime"

Canada may be one of the talented teams but if they don't use that talent against teams that are not from small European country. What's the point?

And to those who speak so highly of louongo. Just be glad he wasn't in net against the Swiss. Shoot outs aren't exactly his thing

^, I would've been shitting in my pants if Luongo was in net for the shootout!

Maybe we should try Fleury, he made a mistake during the WJC a few years ago, but he did learn and improve from that and is the most recent goalie to win a Stanley Cup!
