Default New Battery Suggestions?

Hey Guys,

Any suggestions for a new battery? Should I just go OEM? I drive all year-round and have trouble starting the car below 5 degrees.

People have been recommending the Optima Redtops, but they don't fit without modifications, not sure how extensive this is.

Optima Yellows I hear are terrible for our cars.

Anything else? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!

tbh, if u are NOT driving it year round and only during warm seasons, those lightweight racing batteries are a good choice too, they actually arent too expensive compared to like a redtop or yellowtop...and it looks sick too lol only downside is CCA is lower than regular batteries.

I went with a Costco battery, the terminals are reversed but you can just turn the battery around.

I replaced the original battery in year seven with an OEM one and expect the same life span again.

Go to Polar Batteries, i'm using one from them. Cranks fine in the cold and it only costs 67bux, you just have to tell them you're with telus to get that price.

I went with a Costco battery as well. It has been in for 2 or 3 years now and is doing just fine. Good prices.
