So my maintenance light was on since yesterday. It flashes a few times after i start up the car and off after 1 min or so. But NOW the light just come up forever and wont shut off! i just done my oil change, trans/diff change. Is there any problem if i leave it on? or how can i turn the annoyin light off. MY03 42k

hold the "trip" button for like 5-10 seconds or so

then put your key in and turn it to the "II" position while holding the button down still.

Do what Kenny_Son recommended. The maintenance required light only acts as a reminder for you to do the services. You can reset the light by holding the 'trip reset' button, then turning the key to the II position while still holding it for a few seconds. The light will go off and will come back on to remind you later of your next service.
