Hello, spring is here.

I was just wondering if anyone is planning to do this to their car soon? If anyone needs to get this done, maybe we could make it a day job together? Valve inspection, installing of the retainers and keepers, and adjustment. Where I live, they hate people even opening up their hoods, and I'm kinda lacking in the tools to do it.

I wouldn't mind doing a valve adjustment when it gets warmer. I rather go to a shop to get this done...do a group maintenance meet or something at a shop

AP2's don't have any problems with the retainers and valves right? or is it recommended that we get it checked as well?

Yea, the cracked retainers are "MOSTLY" on ap1s, although some odd members have reported ap2 retainers cracking. Although valve adjustment is never a bad thing.


That's a good idea too. hopefully there are more members interested in doing this job?

I just talked to Jason @ AJR about getting a group deal for the Valve adjustment, Ap2 retainers and keepers job. If anyone is interested, please let me know! I need to get this done soon.
