Default How much for a clutch job?

I phoned honda dealer ships. They said 1174 for parts Clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. And 654 for labour. That number seems so high... I see OEM exedy clutch kits with the same parts on ebay for ~400...whats goin on here?

well, it doesn't grab very well when its cold, and when its warm its still very jerky. In other words the clutch is starting to slip. + the grabbing point is very high. Although this is my first manual car, i've driven others and this clutch feels veryyyyyy different. Although i'm prolly gonna bring it to the next meet and have someone else test it. I'm almost 100% sure the throwout bearing is shot though, which means...that this car's clutch is almost at the end of its life.

I check Majestic Honda and the clutch disk, PP, and TO bearing was around $350 usd.

Labour is definately going to be high cause they charge $100+ per hour.

AJR is about 450-500CAD. I just called yesterday because I'm interested in getting a LW FW.

The clutches you see on eBay is for US markets...that is why it is a lot cheaper. It is actually the actualy distributor that posts it up on eBay, that is also why you don't see the high markups. I would suggest you go Exedy OEM or Exedy Stage 1...they are fairly cheap...and brokage+customs n everythin was roughly 25-50$ for me when i got mine. I got it installed at EvoGarage for $400

Markups on dealership is very high...so...im not surprised. Honda is never the first i would call for parts unless it is mandatory...anyways goodluck!
