RK604 & Sleeves....to answer both your questions....I used to drive a 1st Gen Red Miata
It's a fun car with good 10/10 balance...great on turns....but when it comes to hp....it's nothing like the s2000!

Not a lot of choices on wheels. You need something that has a 50+ or more offset or else you will rub the fenders and/or the rear bumper.
I am running a 255/40/17 tire on a 17x8.5 wheel with 48mm offset and they rub ever so slightly, and this is with 1.8 degrees camber and 1/4 toe-in per side.
I have an 02 Sebring Silver with black Rota slipstreams. Usually I will have a black hardtop on too. I had a white banner across the windsheld, but that is gone now.

Even a hardtop yet? Hardtops not cheap....but good thing you do have one cuz if you're a daily driver and winter rolls around....omg....hardtop = warmer inside while driving (traps heat), more solid and protected, looks cool!
Rub fenders....omg....nooooo I had that experience in the beginning with my miata back then...the wheels were originally too wide and the miata had to be roller fend in so it wont rub.....not a nice sound when it rubbed against each other...SCREEEEEEEECH

hakkaboy,
There is a write-up or two on this forum alone. Just do a search.
Cheers,

one thing i found on my own is that you can actually email US customs w/ the title information instead of faxing it 72hrs in advance
i found emailing a much easier method as they replied me pretty quickly by sending me written confirmation they received my application and title information instead of nothing when i faxed it in.
if i knew ahead of time i could just email i would not have wasted my time sending a fax, and i'm sure others would do the same. this is not documented anywhere, at least not when i was looking...
