Gas Station Pet Peeves
What are your gas station pet peeves? Just curious if anyone gets as frustrated as I do.
Mine:
1) Gas station attendant putting the gas cap face down on the trunk of my car.
2) Gas station attendant spilling gas on the side of my car and on the floor.
Both incidents happened on different occasions at the Chevron on the corner of Garden City and Cambie in Richmond. Just sloppy service.
Looks like I'll be pumping my own gas from now on. Frustrating.

Pet Peeves, having to buy gas in Canada. I try and plan my trips so I have enough gas to get across the border, but having to buy premium for $1.48/liter makes me wanna puke. You can get 92 across the line for 94 cents a liter.
If you buy gas in richmond you cant pump your own gas, its a bi-law, too many old women covered themselves in gas and set themselves on fire. I've tried moving fast and pumping my own gas and they flip out.

I've lived in Richmond for almost two years, now, and I've only let the attendant pump once. The guy tried to put in 87 right after I told him 91, so now I just pump my own. They usually come by to check if I'm doing alright, but I've never had them put up a fuss.
I only go to Chevron.

When I pay by credit at the pump because it's nice and quick and it doesn't go through for some reason...i'm pretty sure it's the attendant that declines it because it's always the same guy working whenever it doesn't go through. Damn right pisses me off

I've never let the attendant fill the car.
I've done that once and I saw a huge streak of gas down the side of the fender. And another time, the attendant put 87 in the car without even asking.

I drive to Poco or Port Moody and pump my own since Coquitlam is all full serve. Also they dropped my cap and it hit the side of the car instead of putting it in the holder just after I got my car.
