Default FYI: Bridgestone RE11's $1154 ( Costco rebate)

Just picked up a set of Bridgestone Potenza Re11's at Costco. They are having a rebate on all Bridgestones. I forgot how much per tire. But I was quoted $120+ at Volco.

If you want to take advantage of the Canadian dollar at the moment you can have your tires sent to one of the Costco's in Portland Oregon. My other co-worker had a set of tires ordered and sent there, stayed overnight and came back with them installed. The warranty is valid in Canada as well.

You get free mount balance/rotations/etc + winter changes + Costco tire life warranty..

Just a heads up, not promoting for Costco.

That is still expensive for those tires.

Tire rack is $225 each for the 255's and $187 each for the 225's.
That is $824 usd plus $61.13 shipping to Blaine.
The tires tax in is $922.88 plus the $61.13 plus 1$10 for brokerage and storage fees land the tires into Vancouver for $994.01 USD. Use a conservative 1.04 exchange rate and these tires are now $1033.77 Cdn. Add $60-80 for mount and balance and the tires total cost is $1115 Cdn or less and you don't have to drive down to Portland (6+ hour drive each way) nor the cost of the over night hotel.

-what bout warranty? (I've seen customers have all 4 tires replaced for free numerous times because one of the tires was messed up)
-winter tire change mount/balance throughout the life of the tires? (They will swap your winter tires on even if they weren't purchased through Costco)
-flat repair?
-100% customer satisfaction guarantee? they will refund you the depreciated value anytime (i've seen idiots come in and take advantage of it)

$60-80 for mount/balance? I guess you must have under the table hookups or something because the cheapest I found for mount/balance was at OKtire $80+tax

You can have the tires sent to Bellingham Costco, doesn't matter what location.

Sorry, the forums wouldn't load up for me after I hit send so you got to see what I originally wrote without my after thought changes, so in other words ignore what I wrote up top.

Just out of curiosity, is this the price you got from the store itself? Both the US and Canadian website doesn't show the RE11 tire.
The US site does show an RE011, but that is a different tire altogether.

Assuming it is the same RE11, how much would those tires be shipped and installed in Vancouver? I forgot to include the duties on my original calculations since the RE11's are made in Japan.

$1154 is the price I paid out the door, with rebate, at the Richmond location. I just had them put on today I was hydroplaning on the highway, not sure if it's the film on the new tire or an alignment issue. I just found out today that winter tire changes will cost $10 a tire if the winter tire wasn't purchased from Costco . Re11 is a special order tire, they have to call in for pricing.
