Enkei RPF1's

chow-bot you should consider the price of used wheels+powdercoating before making the purchase. that opens a bunch of other options and maybe the color choice you originally want.
17x9+45 in the rear won't rub at stock height...also depends on how 'meaty' your tires are, but with stock tires 245/40-r17 you should be fine.
I'm pretty sure you will probably drop it later on, so you might need to slightly roll your rear fender, but that also depends on how 'meaty' your tires and how much camber you have. The work is dependant on what setup you have or what you are aiming for. Good luck!

Visiting from the Prairie Redliners forum...relatives in Vancouver meant I used to head down like twice a year to visit.
Anyway, the 'standard' fitment is 17x8 and 17x9, +45 all around. I did this and ran stock AP2 tire sizes, lowered about 15-20mm on Ground Controls with Konis, so a 1.5 or 2 finger gap, give or take. Also put the car on the UK alignment specs. Rear rubbed a bit on bigger bumps, had to cut away a bit of the plastic part of the bumper, relocated the bumper bolt too. Everything else was fine.
Then this spring I put on the same sized tires, but with RE01Rs. They are noticeably wider, or at least a much squarer shoulder to the tire. Rear rubbed a tad on the plastic bumper again, but now that's gone, machined itself away. To my horror, when climbing a curb and turning at the same time, with some horrible potholes there too, the right front tire bit into the fender. Just a bit, mind you, but quite obvious.
Fortunately, a friend has a fender roller. Some time with that, using a heat gun and a laser thermometer to maintain temperatures, and I rolled and slightly pulled out the front fenders. I also rolled up the rear inner lip to be flush.
The fronts, I had also bent up the liner tabs and put the liner above the tabs AND raised the front about 5mm, but on that curb, it still made contact.
Ever since I've done the other stuff, no other issues.
Good luck, you won't be disappointed. I chose the RPF1 to accommodate the Stoptech 328mm brake kit I put on the car. Be careful with the suspension set up and you'll be fine. Oh, and I had absolutely no problem running these wheels at stock height, but then the car looks kinda funny with the wheels and not lowered.
