I know many of you have seen this, but I'll put it up again for amusement:
Am I worried about the back end coming loose? Not at all. In fact, I do it on purpose to add some fun to my winter driving. Although I don't recommend this for those not use to it, sometimes it is difficult to know exactly when the back end will come loose, therefore, I make it come loose on purpose (in a controlled manner) and I always know where that limit is.
People often ask, "Isn't it hard to drive a supercharged car with all that power when the roads are like glass?" My answer is that you don't have to use all the power you've got. Learn to modulate the clutch and throttle to control the car.
I've had beaters before and I'm not talking about neat stuff like Christy's bread truck. I'm talking about those real "beaters". With the S2000, I never have to worry about whether or not it will start on those really cold days and nights. I never have to worry if it will just drop dead in the middle of the road one day. I don't have to suffer the crappy heaters in most "beaters". I will always know that a properly equipped S2000 is one of the best winter handling vehicles I've ever owned. I know that with the excellent ABS, the S2000 will stop in the most efficient way possible. With the S2000, I can have FUN all year round. In a beater, I am depressed.
An S2000 makes winter that much more enjoyable and just a little bit shorter.
