I just came back from the auto show today and I remember a few folks here looking for great deals from dealers who are getting rid of their 03 inventories........well good news......the current price for 03 s2000s have dropped to $43,250 from $45,000. The fella I spoke to was from the north shore automall in North Vancouver. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

 

reallyyy....that's good price....but I asked them in the autoshow and they told me price would be $45-$47 for 03 brand new one...

i bought mine in may of 2003, of course the 04's weren't out yet, but i payed MSRP of 49xxx. So it the 03's are down to 43, its a really good buy!

 

yeah the salesperson I spoke to said that they received the memo on April 1st, Thursday morning. I hope he didn't mean it as an April Fools joke!!! But yeah it's worth checking out even though I'm sure they will still try to high ball you at the dealership for commisions hence the $45K quote. They assume that buyers will just compare the $45k quote pricing with the Msrp of $49k and not bother with the usual price haggering. But since we all know now about the new $43,250 pricing you don't have to worry about any B.S from the salesperson.......and that's always a good thing.
