A question for you guys that have taken the S on the ferry.
Just wondering, how is the ferry for the lowered s2000s?

I heard that it depends on the tide level. Thoughts?

if your really worried ask for lower deck its not a steep

I would think that the tide may effect it and as B18C5-Eg6 says stay on the lower decks if you can. I am not lowered though so can't really comment too much.

I asked and they want a membership of 10. We have 8 people right now that participate. We are just a bit too small yet, but perhaps by the summer. :-) No offence taken! :-)
Hi!

I guess you could probably make it 9 with me. I've been lurking on here since i got to Victoria in October. But i haven't been posting as i've been busy trying to get my life to some state of normalcy. I'm temporarily renting out in east Sooke until we can buy a house and my wife and i were looking for jobs for quite a while after we got here. Anyway, things are stating to become more normal now that we are working, but the car has been sitting outside in the driveway covered in snow for a while now (who would've thought the car would be exposed to more snow here than when i lived in Edmonton? I had a garage back there and will again when we buy the house).

I guess i've been too busy and embarassed of my constantly dirty car to try and show up to any meets yet; not to mention my rear tires are about at the wear indicators and have absolutely no grip at these temperatures. But when things warm up i'll try and make it out to some meets and will definately make it out to autocrosses.

I should probably try and post more on here, especially if it'll help us get our own area

Oh, BTW, in my only experience with the ferry i had absolutely no issues with clearance - i`m lowered about an inch or slightly more.

Welcome undeRwhelmed. Don't worry about the shape of your car. Try and make it out to our next meet. Stay tuned as one is coming up within the next couple of weeks.
