I know of at least two new ones.., there is a silverstone as well with an older guy beard and greyish white hair. Probably around my age. Saw him on the highway a while back and he pulled up beside me.

Also there was someone in Vancouver that was saying he sold his S to someone here in Victoria.

Hi Guys,

I'm sure I've seen some you in town. I live in Gordon Head. I wave to as many S2000's as I can. Look forward to seeing you all in the future.

My paint color is not Berlina Black. I had it totally repainted from Berlina to Jet Black. The Berlina has a blue and red tint in it, so even when you wash it, it never looks sparkling clean.

I know Jon with the white S2000 parked outside in a driveway on Shelbourne.

I've had my car since brand new in 2002 and might be able to help you guys if you have any questions. I was friends with xviper in Calgary. He worked on my car a few times and I've seen hime the last couple years during the West Coast meets when he's in Victoria. Maybe you don't know who he is. If you don't, he was instrumental in helping a TON of s2ki members and still does through another site. He was the author of about half to three quarters of all of the how to's in the library for s2ki.com. So I might be able to pass some knowledge over to you guys if you want.

The S2000 is an awesome car and I plan on keeping mine forever.

Have any of you tried go karting at Western Speedway? It's a blast. You have to own your own kart. We race on the main track with a configured tire circuit. Check out www.victoriakarting.com. You get 4 races of approximately 15 laps each. Cost is $50 for the day. Two classes, Honda 4 stroke and the faster Rotax 2 stroke which I am in. They also started car drifting on Saturday mornings before the karting. Maybe some of you are already doing it.

I recognize your car I think....we were rolling on to the ferry side by side a while back, I was in the Silverstone AP2, I commented on your nice car.

I know who xviper is, his writeups are great! How come he isn't on the board anymore?

I've never done karting at Western, but I do autocross there from time to time with the Victoria Motorsports Club. I did get to drive an ICA 100cc kart a few years back, they sure are a blast! How do you get your kart to the track?

Hopefully you can make it out to the next meet.

I know of 2 black S2000's. I met an middle aged Asian guy that was putting air in his tires at the Chevron station beside the Fairway/Starbucks/Scotia Bank on Shelbourne while I was putting air in my tires for my motorcycle. I spoke to the guy for a bit.

The second one is on Shelbourne approaching McKenzie and it was a young guy with a young woman. Another time at the same location I thought it was the same car but with to smilie young ladies in it.

My insurance is off for now and will probably put it back on in January.

My Kart: I am fortunate to have it brought to the track for me. Eventually I am looking to buy a 6x10 cargo trailer.

We gotta get them out to a local meet. Winter is tough though as I guess lots of people put 'em away.
