Anyone here a Day trader?
Hey guys,
Just wondering what online broker you guys use. I was looking into questrade but after reading how bad the reviewers were i will stay clear. Upon research i found that "TD,rbc, fidelity etc have a ton of hidden fees. Their "cheep option/stock purchases" where really cheep but the extra broker charges and many other Lil charges quickly add up to over $60 a trade even if it is less then 100 shares. Then there was Zecco free trading? to good to be true... I'm sure they are legitimate but to good to be true and too new to trust in my opinion. After dealing with rbc's online broker accounts and there heavy ass fees I'm ready to move on to Optionexpress. Anyone use it? "$14.95 a trade no cap" I think this is a great way to go no hidden charges. Yes it is more then questrade but err read to much on how their customer services sucks and how there account fees will hunt you down.
Sorry for a bit of blab.
Regards Michael

I don't day trade, but I use a discount brokerage. Questrade. Their trades are $4.95 to a max of $9.95. So far I've been pretty happy. Although I hear their customer service is crap.

I'm thinking about going with Scotiabank's iTrade (formerly eTrade Canada).
