Wont to hood the look like it doesnt fit properly all propped up in the back??

Also, I believe there are SEVERAL threads regarding the actual effectiveness of the DIY hood venting VS hood spacers. something about how the pressure zones of right under the windshield arent high enough to pull the hot air out.

Don't quote me.
But as you are driving, there should be enough air flow into the engine bay to cause it to be a higher pressure than outside of the hood, well in theory anyways.

Just like with the vemted stock hood, is it a low pressure area over the opening, or the higher pressure engine bay forcing air out?

It looks good but I'd be too paranoid about getting water in. Looks to be sitted right on top of the battery and fuses. I'm sure it works though.

I sold my carbon fiber hood ... Didnt really like the look of it after a while. As for water getting in, I had the Seibon MG Style hood before with the vents in almost the same areas but on both sides. I drove it in heavy rain and everything was fine I had no issues.

^ Thanks Vince!

Yeah, I'd be too nervous to cut my stock hood if it was the only one I had. But I do like the vented look.

Then it will cease to be a DIY and become a SEDIFM (someone else do it for me).

Instead of cutting up the hood, you can take out the weather stripping and add some washers to where the hood bolts onto the hinge to raise the back of the hood.

Works well, muckalun did it to his ride to help disperse the heat from his s/c
