^^Wasn't it '97? That snow fall came fast, but it didn't last too long. It looks like we're going to get another dump.

Not too sure about you, but I finally got my car stuck yesterday, TWICE.

The snow was higher than the door level I managed to get the car highsided on the snow. A few minutes of going back and forth compacting/ploughing the snow and I got the car free. I managed to get the car out while the UPS truck in front of me couldn't.

When the snow is that high, no car will get out without a shovel.
Touch wood, so far so good for me. Although if it dumps any more snow I don't think I will be able to get out of my alley as I could barely get out today.

Blizzak WS-60's work better in powder than they do in the thick, heavy wet stuff as I discovered today. But still easily manageable. And yeah, beaters break down all the time and cost time and money to fix, not to mention the price of the car. Winter tires win again.

At least you can sell the beater after winter.who's gona want winter tires in s2k size come the spring. I got for winter tires for the beater for 125 three years ago and there still going strong. I use the car all year round. Nice to have a car you don't have to worry about.

keep the winter tires for next winter. Between winters, mount wheels that have summer tires on them. I guess not everyone has the room for 2 cars.
