Default Amuse Type Urethane Lip Prepainted

I'm thinking of replacing my fibreglass amuse lip with the urethane version from 4IGS2000. If you're interested let me know we can arrange shipping. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=113672

yes, I've cracked my fibreglass already...all the hills and slopes in Burnaby isn't helping.

Yupe she's cracked right by the side. Mine is stock height as well, it's just the roads in Burnaby aren't very friendly to S2000.

Urethane is the same material used on our front bumper, and the same as the OEM lip. The down side to urethane is that they're very flexible so it's hard to keep the paint on them. I'll rather take a paint chip over a cracked lip. Fitting wise you'll need to use some tape to get them to stay on, similar to the OEM lip.

BTW, it's $249 for the unpainted - if I can get another person there's no shipping charge.

actually our bumpers and OEM lip are made of ABS Plastic. Much better than urathane. its much more durable than fiberglass but not as flexible as urathane. its super duper strong.

oh and tape is NOT required to make the OEM lip fit. some bolts and screws and its on!

and even the oem lip isn't bulletproof.

i was thinking about gonig for the j's lip, but dude... fiberglass, guaranteed to scrape, and if you crack one you'relooking at $1K us dollars each time to replace.

add the wait for shipping from jpn.

pain in the ass

Fibreglass is definitely not worth it. I have one on right now and it's such a paint in the ass.

It was super hard for the shop to match the paint on my fibreglass lip, I hope they can do it on the urethane. Brandon refused to ship Suzuka blue painted.
