The AEM sounds nice, but so do most of them. There's a lot of intake videos on Youtube.

Didn't see a good video for the Password JDM though.

video doesn't do much justice in terms of sound. Seriously man, I have K&N but no way I'd be biased and say it's the best. All intakes are pretty much the same and the only difference for K&N is that there is no risk of hydrolock involved in it, plus it's dyno proven. To me there's no such thing as "best" intake.

haha i've got kenny's old k&n fpik..

this is quite subjective, but it seems to have picked up a tiny bit of power in the midrange.. however, i'm pretty sure it lost some above 8000 rpm, so it's a bit of a trade off..

i have noticed that the car can heat soak and bog quite badly at traffic jam speeds, to the point where you hit the throttle and just about nothing happens, then it starts bucking.. not fun.. it's pretty rare, though, and i didn't have all that much experience with the stock intake in hot weather, so the k&n may or may not be the cause..

anyway, the sound is pretty amazing.. very loud under full throttle, especially through tunnels

i'm willing to live with the non-gains just for that sound, really.. it is that good

^hmmm, I never noticed that with my FIPK. Is the rubber strip tight against your hood?
