Default 2002 rear CV axles...

any one know of any sitting around? my s2000 has developed a cv problem...

over 30km/h a vibration can be felt in the seat and felt in the rear, only on acceleration, goes away as soon as u let off the throttle. checked alldatapro and apparently there is a TSB on it... so ima assume its that.

All you have to do is swap the left one to the right and right to left.

You don't need to swap the entire axles, just the cv "cups".

I have the very same issue
there will be minor vibrations in the cockpit.
Also, Durring acceleration from a dead stop, I will hear clicking noises. It might just be a loose axle nut, But has anyone esle encountered this issue?

I've had a CV go in my old FWD Audi and it would make clicking noises only when turning. The sound would get worse with more steering input, and when accelerating (dead stop or otherwise), but it wouldn't make a peep with the wheel straight.

Are the CV's on the s2k really different lengths? Seems weird that Honda wouldn't place the diff in the center of the car.

the left side is around 2'' shorter than the right. lots of manufacturers are like that. its usually cause of diff design.

In the case of your audi, That is usually your CV boot, and the bearings are gone at that point
