On friday, I took that car to the almost completely empty. The car was stalling/hesitating as I was driving along Kingsway. I was able to pull into the Cheveron under the car's own power. Filled up with 47.19 L of 92 octane. I was able to drive 430 km's. This is mainly city driving.

alspeed - didn't doubt you @ all, just very impressed. It also seems that AP2's get better fuel mileage. Most AP1 owners i've talked to average around 380 whereas AP2's tend to break 400 around the city.
My fuel gauge seems a little off when filling at the 1/2 way mark as well, but at these prices i breath a sigh of relief....
The worse thing is when i fill up for my pickup. 120l tank and my visa stops the transaction at $100, which gets me about 3/4 tank with 87 oct.

120litre tank! I never realized pickup trucks has such a large gas tank. Is this like a Ford F-Series? How far can you get on 1 litre?

Doubt it. Our cars have no fuel filters.
I'm sure there was still some gas in the tank but there is no way to get all of it from the bottom. That's just the way it is, plus 47L was with room to spare. Didn't want to spill any of the "liquid gold" since it is so darn expensive. = )
