I don't think higher octane will do much (94) unless you're tuned for it. On the contrary, lower octane WILL affect performance and gas efficiency as the timing is now off.

well it actually makes a big difference...when i put in 94 car runs much smoother and you get better accelaration before vtec kicks in..try it and you'll definatly see the difference

Wow, Kenny gets 380 and he drives like a maniac! That's impressive!

I like to cruise, especially when I'm top down.

By the way, our tank is 50 litres!

I tried quite hard to tell the diff but I couldn't. I used to do 92 a tank then 94 a tank. For a while I used just 94. For some reason I couldn't tell any difference

Btw, fwiw, I read somewhere that Mohawk gasoline gets bad gas mileage b/c of the high Ethanol content in it. Something about needing to burn more Ethanol to get the same BTU rating as non-Ethanol gas. Not sure if there's any truth to it, by I for one will stay away from it, especially if it's only 90 octane!
but with prices these days, 90 octane at mohawk is same price as 87.. no knocking so far....no one else uses it on their S?
i used to use cheveron 94+ and they have the best gas and cleaner but too pricy.

husky is 90 also, but I'd definitely stay away from it.
