Now before you go and shout this "rumour" to the rest of the world, keep in mind that it came from a sale guy.

I talked to one of the sale guy at Westwood this weekend and he told me that they are expecting a hardtop model in 2005. Before you scream BS, I can tell you that I trust this guy. He's on his second S2000 already. As well he knows we're on top of things and so far all the info that they let out have been accurate. Having said that, the fact is he's still a sale guy

I think the new S2000 will be here as a MY06 model, but I just pulled that info out of my rear end.

Hahaha....did you talk to Felix. According to everybody in Coquitlam, he doesn't really know what he's talking about, 3 months ago when I talked to him about the MY04, he's like, what are you talking about? I'm just like, forget it, you don't know what your talking about. The reason he's on his SECOND S2000 is because he bought a RX-8 but returned it after Mazda offered to take it back.
