Sounds like a pretty sweet setup. I prob wouldn't be too much help. All I've ever done are intakes, springs, pulleys, just the minor stuff. Plus, I just moved here from Chicago and pretty much have zero tools with me. But I'd sure like to join whoever is going to help, and see some of the work being done, and maybe throw back a few beers. I think you, or a group, should just do it little by little, and have a great time doing it. You can really learn a lot more doing it yourself (not to mention save money), with the help of a manual and some friends.

Well after a few months in absentia I'm back! Where are you located? Where are the cars located? Sevaral years ago we had a very active group of owners. More recently a new group has moved in, they too have been very active. Both groups seem to have various car freaks available. I would love to better understand your situation as I deal a lot directly with the engineers at Honda in Tochigi (i.e all things are possible).

Utah S2K: nope, Poli Sci student at the U! I currently live in Draper (2 years) and basically 1 car is on it's way from Sacramento (hometown) and the other from Lousinana (bought it from a fellow S2KI member). I basically buy theft recoveries or light damage vehicles and got the S2K fever after buying an MY02 8 months ago. Sold it and found these 04's!
I went through past threads and KNOW Modern Garage does a lot of good work, but to tell you the truth they are pretty "pricey"! Don't get me wrong, I think they do great work, but to pricey for me!!!
I dropped by the Honda dealership earlier today and was quoted $2K for a complete motor/tranny swap, so decided to call Phantom Motorsports and have an appointment tommorrow to get some prices. Will keep everyone updated and thanks for your input and helps!
I will keep everyone updated for sure!
