Default An idea for a group drive...

I know i haven't even been to a group drive day yet... but has anyone ever been to Logan and then throught Logan canyon to Bear Lake??? This canyon is one of the best to drive in!! They have tons of figure 8's, straight aways, and scenary... hell TAKE MY WORD FOR IT! Once you get in Bear Lake (30-40 minute drive), there are 5 or 6 awesome burger joints and ice cream parlors (famous for raspberry shakes) that are amazing! Ohh, and by the way, the 8 years i have lived here, i have only witnessed 1 cop sighting and i hit this canyon EVERY weekend with my STI buddies up here (since there is only 1 other S2K HERE!!).

Well anyway... this was just an idea, since i figure not everyone has been to Logan.

Also, Logan is about 30 minutes from Idaho, so you can stack up on some REAL beer and grab some lotto tickets while your up there. Just an idea...

I think it sounds like a good idea, it's just getting people to drive an hour and a half from Salt Lake, to go on another 40 minute drive. This would be more of an half day thing and most people on here only have 2 hour time windows. With that in mind, considering my fiance goes to USU currently, I'm down for it because I'd get to visit her too.

you guys won't be dissapointed! I promise. This canyon has VERY steep mountains totally surrounding you and has a LOT of hairpins in it as well, followed by continuous straight-a-ways, then even more figure 8's. The best part of it is that we can even check out the gorgeous lake and all the small restaurants that Bear Lake as to offer.
WHO ELSE IS IN??

Ooooo, just to for-warn everyone... when you turn off in Brigham City... there tends to be a cop stationed in Sardine canyon, until you get out of the canyon, then into Logan. I wouldn't want anyones day to be ruined by a speeding ticket!

Ah...the robot cop in Sardine Canyon. 4 over and he pulls you over...yeah, he's usually in Mantua(?). Used to drive a Dakota, I think now he's in a Silverado.
