Only one big problem, my car would look quite funny with the rear wheels 1.5" past the fender. So until I get the wide body done, I may be stayin' home.

I could always drive my TL, which may look out of place. Kind of like having a big brother chaperone hangin' around.

Just an update: My wheels have arrived. I will be doing a test fit Wednesday, then ordering the tires. I should have them on by next Monday, then off to the body shop.

Cool - can't wait to see the final product! In the meantime, if you get the urge to take her out, I have a spare set of OEM rims - just need tires on them Of course, that's only if you can't stand leaving her in the garage for so many months!

Did the test fit with the 275/30/19, and 235/35/19. Now I am waiting to do a test fit with 285 and 245 Potenza S-03's, which I think I will go with. I May know by Friday, or Monday at the latest.

After the test fit with the Bridgestone Potenza S-03's, I decided that was definitely the tire I wanted. At almost an inch wider in actual contact patch, and no taller, it was the clear choice. So they ordered the rest, and they should be here Wed.

I need to start getting bids now for the wide body. I will give Russ a call now.

My sister just got her bodykit for her Lexus IS300 painted and installed there. They did an excellent job. It may take a little longer to get it done at Russ's, but I think it'd be worth it.

Here's some pics of my sister's car when we went to pick it up at Russ's. And let me say, this bodykit was crap when it came out, terrible quality, but he made it fit great and look great.
