Sorry I couldn't show up, my sister and her 6-month old son got in a car accident, and I was a little but more worried about them. They're fine fortunately. Looks like a great turnout however.

I had a great time! Loved the twisties, you do not realize how lucky you all are to have such wonderful roads so close!!! Quite different than our flat-straight-semi-curvy roads in tex-ass. frown.gif
It was great meeting all of you and i look forward to the next get together. I will definitely make the next drive if i am still in SLC. smile.gif
Great pics, thanks to all for posting!

I followed this thread to see if you guys got a drive together I already knew this weekend was booked for me. Glad you did....too bad about the troll in the Civic. I talked with Ira on the phone and assured him that a wake up call to my place would have failed as I was at MMS by 7 AM. Bryan Herta, a close friend, was there racing LeMans cars for Andretti Green Racing. Team had a rough day (blown trans) but we had a VIP blast! I was Mechanic of the Year for So Cal Karting when Bryan launched his career so many moons ago. Spent a lot of late night mechanic sessions together. Great to have friends in high places . Another friend just got his Ferarri back after a crash at Sebring for this race. Car 600K...repairs 300K. Car arrived in Chicago Thursday, day before the race. I could go into all the gore here but I will spare you. Suffice to say that Larry H. Miller, founder of Miller Motorsports came through in so many ways for this team. I now know first hand that LHM is a for real guy with a racing passion second to none. He took the time and made things happen for "just another race team".

P.S. Sorry I missed yet another drive

The drive was great guys. I had such a blast. I would do that exact drive again in a heart beat. Good to meet alot of you new guys, and hopefully next time I see you all I will be farther along in my turbo project. Good luck to all in your own personal projects till the next time I see you.
