What is the Montgomery Inn you speak of? I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere.
We are planning on announcing this, the first of April..... We are going to make a "Post" available for sign-up... Every Dragon event, we...( the Cincy Crew ) have a dinner, prior to our caravan @ the Montgomery Inn. We need a correct count of those attending...Sooooo I don't usually start the post...too far ahead of time. It is a "Higher-End" type resturant...and they will not seat the party, till "ALL" are present.....
The Montgomery Inn, is....very famous in the Cincy area for their ribs, & steaks !!

Now they have opend a place in Columbus too.....

I'm waiting on a few people to get back to me... one has an option potentially on the other side (KY).. and I think Scoots is looking as well I'll follow-up with both of them today..

Denny.. do you have any recommendations as well? Where have people stayed in the past? My sisters went to Xavier so in the past, I could just sleep at their house..

...."M"... There are numerous hotels here in the eastgate area...about 10 miles from the Ohio River...They are not so high priced....as for not being located right on the river.. Check the hotels in the Cincinnati, Ohio 45245 & 45244 zip codes.... Those will put you out where I live, East side Cincy...

Now for night life, you may want to stay, down by Newport on the Levy....( Hooter's )Lots of night life there.....but you pay for it, with lodging.....

Fred ( Derf ) & Kim, used to stay in the Blue Ash area...Lots of budget places there to stay. 15 to 20 miles from the river....right on Interstate 71 & 275 interchange. Presents some traffic problems during rush hour, on the way into the city...!!!!!( which you may incur, Thursday morn ) on the way to Hooter's.

Yes, in 2007 I stayed at the Extended Stay America - Blue Ash, with a discount code provided by DERF. You might be able to do a search of the '07 WTD threads for the discount code and see if it still works, but I doubt it. It was cheap and decent and they were fine with a few of us sitting around in the parking lot, although it was pretty cold that night.

If there's enough interest from the UMW I could arrange the same hotel again, but I'm not sure how many as of now are planning on joining the Cinci caravan.

That was still 30 minutes or so out from the Cincy caravan location right? I think that's where Scoots stayed last year..

I was checking out the Newport area.. seems to have some decent places to hang out after the Montgomery Inn gtg as well. I should have some ideas in place hopefully soon.
