Just wanted to echo Charlie's sappy sentiments - have a great and safe time. Shiny side up, don't cross the yellow line, watch for falling rock, make sure you do your late runs before you start drinking, drink a lot, leave the hardtops at home or in the cabin, leave the drama and politics at home, ditch the Cinncy crew, don't drive alone, don't drive beyond your limits, don't drive beyond the cars limits, take some time to drive slow, take pictures, take videos, don't lose your camera, have fun and show everyone how fun the UMW can be (or as fun as it can be without me).

If anyone has any last minute stuff they need, let me know and I'll get them to garrison. I have plenty of spare brake pads, some "backup" rotors, and picked up a bunch of oil filters and diff/trans washers. I even picked up a new set of wheels with tires I want to sell (keeping the wheels) if some gets a puncture in the next couple of days.
Well put

We'll miss you. I'll just have to make fun of Mocky's car instead of yours though

I won a certificate from Billman at last year's WTD dinner for the following;

Billman's Quick Tune

CLUTCH FLUID REPLACEMENT
CLUTCH ROD ADJ.
THROTTEL ADJ.
CABIN AIR FILTER
TOPDOWN MOD
AC OFF WHILE Defroster (for 2002 and up)

Problem was I already had this plus the VA done. I still have the certificate and Billman will allow me to pass it along to a needy UMW

Shoot me a PM the first respondent gets it free of charge.

Dangit...I really needed that 'Top Down' mod.

That's ok...my disgust will show up in the form of some watered Jack and cokes, and Franzia boxed wine for you.

No worries, Krista will still get the good stuff.

As for Huskergirl, her glass will run dry after her first drink.

All Caravan 2 people I will PM tonight or early tom. I also must now warn the group that I will be stopping more often. This past 2 weeks my gas mileage has varied from 189 @ 10 gal to 245 @ 10 gal. So I will not be getting close to 300 miles per fill up. I am saying sorry in advance. I will probably leave it in cruise control and be top up just for that..
No prob. I like to get out of the car on long drives no longer than about every 2-2 1/2 hours. It's good to stretch out and keep the blood flowing in the legs after sitting that long. Now hopefully when I show up at the oaisis I park on the correct side.

I'm very, very excited for this. I'm having a pretty intense week at work due to me only being there 3 days, but I intend to forget about that entirely come Thursday morning.

I DO have a spare FRS radio, and I will allow someone else on the Caravan 2 crew to use it if necessary (for the cruise down), but during the dragon I imagine I'd let anyone from the UMW borrow it.

As Pat said, if you need anything or have any sort of supplies you're afraid won't fit in your car, LET ME KNOW ASAP. Das Mini has no problem being the UMW support vehicle.
