Man this sounds like fun. I remember going to Maryland for a big Si meet about 3 years back, but haven't been to any with the s2k. If I can get off work I am down, and hopefully we can all drive in an s2k convoy on the way there.

Also, I'll be putting in for time off this week....I'm in like Flynn. Now the question is, do we do a cabin, or is the wifey driving her S2000 as well, in which case she and I will need to get our own hotel room.

I'd get a small cabin if she's going, they're only like $10 more a night and you get a lot more room, plus a kitchen & stuff. Both times I went I got a small cabin and it was really quite nice, much better than the lodge rooms, IMO.

 

Ehhh...not sure about that one. If it's just the boys going, than a big party UMW cabin is an absolute necessity.

If it's the wife and me, then we'll still party at the big UMW party cabin...which means little as possible time in whatever we get (be it a cabin or just a room...maybe she'll force me to get us at least a suite). Plus, if we get a cabin, she may force me to do dishes and such.

Also, I seem to remember that the cabins tend to have big bugs hiding in crevices, the bathroom, and beside the bed...wife is definitely not keen on it.

If the wife and I do get a cabin, it's because we'll be splittng the extra room with Keith and his gf...I'm trying my darndest to make sure he comes out to this event.
