[QUOTE=Luder94,Jan 14 2010, 04:56 PM]I know Huskergirl and Huskerhubby partake in it...they typically doesn't invite any of the other UMW'ers to it.

Oh so Luder94 WAS there.

Actually 312 is really good beer. In fact, I think I brought that to the inagural beer swap.

I am bummed I didn't go last year, and am REALLLY looking forward to this year.

I'll be bringing some beer from emmitts which IMO is awesome beer. For those that live around her and have never been I would highly reccomend looking them up. Have a couple locations in the burbs- Dundee. Palatine. Maybe couple others.

I had a 7-10 day trial scheduled to begin on March 3rd that was bumped to "sometime in April", yesterday. Now, I need a little bit of luck that it will be scheduled and completed before WTD. My chances of attending just dropped from 99.9999% to about 70%.

Its true! However, not being the beer connoisseur that many of you are, you need to bring something better than the 312 I brought for the beer swap. I am sure there are better local beers out there.
LOL. I had a bad experience with the first random beer I tried at last years beer swap. I ended up drinking a couple of your 312's (I knew it would be good ). I think 312 or any Goose Island is a good local beer. 312 is my default beer. Someone from Milwaukee should bring something good though - like Lakefront and not "Beast".

We were at a beer tasting dinner at Emmett's in Dundee not to long ago, we had a great meal and a barrel full of beer. I highly recommed attending one.

Brewmaster Dinner
February 9th, 2010 · West Dundee
February 16th, 2010 · Palatine

Join us for one of our widely popular Brewmaster Dinners. The event starts at 6:30 pm with a beer reception where attendees can sample their choice of any of our handcrafted beers. During the reception hour Brewmaster, Ryan Clooney and Head Brewer Rob Hunter, will conduct tours of our brewery and explain the beer making process. During dinner our chef and Ryan will passionately explain their handiwork and how it applies to each of the five delicious courses. The price for this unique culinary experience is $59.95 per person, plus tax. Brewmaster Dinners are held quarterly.

I will be aquiring an assortment from Central Waters for the WTD Beer Swap

Hmmm hmmm....Indian Pale Ale (aka Victory Ale). Harry Cash opened my taste buds to Emmet's IPS and haven't been able to thank him enough.
