Sounds like a fun time. DL is a great park for a picnic. But if we end up going that route, we have to make sure we either reserve a spot, or get there early for the FCFS shelters. Devil's Lake is the most popular park in the state, and gets busy REALLY quick with pretty much anyone from boaters, fishers, climbers, and beach goers.
