to answer some of your Qs...

Yes, you can get tint tickets in IL. If you're sensible and keep the tint light 9/10 youll get left alone. I used to have the 30% on the S2000 and had no issues whatsoever.

I dont think so - Ill check.

Yes, you can layer tint to make it darker. 50% or 30% tints on the fronts would look ok with that. Actually one of my vehicles is a Jeep. Has factory tint on the rears - im putting 30% on the fronts.

FINALLY - as for where/when/timing etc. This will all be determined once we get a final price from the vendor. They will basically require a holding deposit from everyone to buy their "spot" Once they have 10 or 15 deposits and everyone is commited you can then call them and book an appointment for whenever suits you. This won't be a group thing - you can do it anyday you wish as long as they have a spot.

Yea film is cheap and all, but the tinting the S' rear window isn't exactly easy.

Yeah they did. I remember we had a pretty big list last time. I was on the tail end. I remember still getting the pricing like 2 months after the "group" pricing was done with.
