Why are the chicago boys the only "cool" ones in this forum!? I know there are a couple S's here or there in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana...? aren't there....? Well.........? Anyways, ...We ALLLL know where the fun really is!!

Well... obviously it's not Detroit!...

I am very curious though, why there seems to be such a generation difference in S2000 owners from Michigan and Illinois (chicago). It seems as if most from around me are older "business men" trying to retain a little vigor. Trying to avoid that middle-aged crisis. ...but is that really the reason?

Well, the Chicago owners are the coolest on the whole board so it only makes sense that we would rule this forum!

j/k of course.

Not sure why the people in D-town are so old. Frankly I am surprised they are allowed to sell anything not made by the big three in that town.

Ha the chicago people are the coolest. Number one reason..... ME! j/k

Sometimes our Midwest board here is sooooo dead its not even funny. Honestly over my 200 or so days here i got jealous of how the toronto boys and the nyc guys were havin fun. So i made a vow to try to revive our part. Ive posted many pointless threads here just so we get some feedback. And the chicago guys have responded well. This year i made alot of friends, Pete you were one of them. The cool thing is that even tho there is a generation gap we still all get along great. Im lookin forward to hangin out with u guys again, and lets show this forum that its our forum... j/k i love all the midwest owners. CUZ ITS A MIDWEST THAAANNNG YAAALLL.

I agree with this statement 100%.

One of the best things about owning this car compared to others I've owned (and I am a car WHORE) is the comradery of the other S2000 owners. When I was up in Milwaukee I met Johnny--2K and WisonsinS2K both of whom were much younger than I was (maybe 5-8 years ish) and they are both great people. Now I move to Indy and I meet a whole new group of great guys with the same interest and a broader age range and they are still GREAT people.
